By combining the two units into one, Raymarine has elimnated the need to purchase a separate network switch, thereby reducing the space required and decreasing the number of cables used. The SR6 delivers highly detailed, real-time forecast information including weather radar, storm tracks, sea surface temperature, wind, surface pressure, wave heights, lightning and much more.
